Opportunity:

Sterile Processing Tech

Job Details:

* Work 5x8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM with holiday rotation
* No weekend requirement
* May be required to float or be permanently switched to ART, Main, or West Campus to meet facility needs
* Floating to sister facilities is required
* Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience required
* Level I Trauma experience required
* Travel experience required
* Experience in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap required
* Preferred case experience includes: Neuro, GU, Robotics, ENT, Ortho, Transplant, and GYN
* Required certifications: CBSPD and/or IAHCSMM/HSPA
* BLS not required
* Skills required include: sterilization wrapping procedures, high-level disinfection, immediate-use steam sterilization, scope/probe reprocessing, sets/tray assembly, biological and chemical indicators, equipment documentation, and use of washers/sterilizers
* Experience working with a broad range of specialties including Acute Hospital OR, Ambulatory Surgery Center, Cardiac, Laparoscopic, Neurology, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Plastics, Robotics, Transplant, and Urology
* Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Parking cost applies for nights and weekends only with a one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, and Magnet Hospital with 820 total staffed beds. It is a large, comprehensive healthcare organization that supports a wide range of surgical specialties and patient populations including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The facility maintains high standards of care and is equipped to handle complex cases across multiple campuses.
