Open Position: Social Worker - Licensed Social Worker

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2206.40

Job Details:

* Work 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or evening shifts from 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM
* Every other weekend required, including both Saturday and Sunday
* No on-call required
* No block scheduling required
* Patient ratio of 7
* May be required to float to sister hospital emergency department to perform the same duties if overstaffed
* Serve adult and pediatric patient populations in the Emergency Department
* Conduct crisis risk assessments and mental health evaluations for patients at risk for danger to self, danger to others, or gravely disabled
* Perform biopsychosocial assessments and provide level of care recommendations as a consultant
* Provide crisis intervention and care coordination for patients with mental health illness and substance use disorder
* Facilitate discharge planning and coordinate with internal and external team members
* Must have full independent clinical licensure - associate license will not suffice
* Must be licensed as a Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Independent Clinical Social Worker (LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC)
* Minimum 3 years of experience required
* Experience in conducting crisis risk assessments for adults and pediatrics required
* Hospital experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience required
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Facility:

This facility is a short-term acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center, as well as a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. With 629 staffed beds, this is a large teaching hospital equipped to handle a wide range of complex medical needs. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and offers no-cost parking for staff.
