Opportunity:

RN - Radiology

Job Details:

* 10-hour day shifts with variable start times (7:00 AM or 8:00 AM)
* Provide nursing care for patients receiving imaging services including CT/MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Interventional Radiology procedures
* Patient care responsibilities include IV support, procedure preparation, moderate sedation and monitoring, recovery, and patient instructions
* Ability to float to other UCSF facilities as needed
* Care for patients across all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Manage all patient diagnoses within the radiology setting
* Must be able to wear a lead apron as needed
* Must be able to go into MRI environment as needed
* Teaching hospital experience required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Radiology experience required
* Adult acute care experience required
* Experience in Diagnostic Imaging, Interventional Radiology, Procedural Sedation, and Pacemaker Interrogation required
* Experience in ICU, ED, PACU, or procedural area preferred
* Radiology Imaging Nursing Certification preferred
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS
* PALS preferred
* California RN License required
* BSN required
* Charting system: Epic
* 2 references from most recent employer required at time of submittal
* All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submittal and cannot fall within the first two weeks of the assignment start
