Job Details:

* Day/Evening rotator shifts available (7:00 AM?7:00 PM, 9:00 AM?9:00 PM, 11:00 AM?11:00 PM) or straight evenings
* Weekend call scheduled in 8-hour blocks (7:00 AM?3:00 PM, 3:00 PM?11:00 PM, and 11:00 PM?7:00 AM)
* Up to 4 weeknight calls and up to 2 weekend shifts or call shifts per 4-week schedule
* Call required on weeknights and weekends
* No float required
* Patient ratio of 1:1
* 22 operating rooms available
* Primarily adult and geriatric patient population
* Level 1 Trauma Center environment
* EPIC charting system experience required
* General OR and Trauma experience required
* Trauma Level I experience required
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: BLS and CAC
* Michigan license must be in-hand at time of submission (compact license not accepted)
* 2 supervisory/manager references required (charge RN references not accepted)
* No pre-hire modules required; modules completed onsite during orientation
* Specialties include orthopedics (joint, oncology, trauma, hand/foot, sports medicine), general surgery, urology, plastics, ophthalmology, and interventional pulmonary
* Special equipment includes DaVinci robotic surgical system, laparoscopic equipment, Stryker, Storz integration, variety of orthopedic implants and specialty beds, O-arm, C-arm, and Censitrac instrument scanning

Facility:

This facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center equipped with 22 operating rooms and advanced surgical technology, including robotic surgery systems and specialized orthopedic equipment. The facility supports a wide range of surgical specialties including general surgery, urology, plastics, ophthalmology, and interventional pulmonary, and provides interdisciplinary support services such as interpretation services, pharmacy, and unit secretary support.
