Opportunity:

RN - Charge Nurse

Job Details:

* Day shift position working 3x12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
* Schedule based on department needs
* No on-call responsibilities
* Leadership position with administrative expectations as a Nurse Lead on the unit
* Trauma level unit requiring TNCC certification
* Provide unit-based leadership working collaboratively with Nurse Manager, Director, Physicians, and staff
* Supervise and direct nursing and ancillary personnel using professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment
* Ensure patients receive cost effective, professional care resulting in positive outcomes and high patient satisfaction
* Assess and take steps to improve quality of patient experience and maintain highest level of patient safety
* Initiate and coordinate conferences with health team members, patients, and families to develop and revise care plans
* Foster an environment of patient and family centered care with attention to cultural diversity and personal needs
* Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience required
* Master's Degree preferred
* Minimum two years recent experience in field required
* Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills required
* Required certifications: AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS, AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS, TNCC
* Current RN licensure in state of practice required
* Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification preferred

The 162-bed hospital includes a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and serves as a county designated trauma center.
