RN - Pediatric OR

Job Details:

* Night shift schedule consisting of 2x12-hour shifts and 2x8-hour shifts for 40-hour weeks
* Possibility for day shifts available
* Ability to float to other UCSF facilities and campuses within 75+ mile radius
* Minimum 3 years of pediatric OR experience required
* Teaching hospital experience required
* Scrub experience preferred
* Cardiac circulating experience preferred
* Ambulatory OR experience preferred
* CNOR certification preferred
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I experience required
* Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
* Services include neurology, ortho/spine, otolaryngology, urology, plastics, ophthalmology, dental, cardiac, general surgery, GI, and hem/onc
* 1-6 weekend shifts per contract
* BSN required
* California RN license required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, PALS

Facility:

This children's hospital features 11 surgical suites and 2 procedural rooms, with a primary focus on a multidisciplinary team-based approach to staffing and patient care. The facility provides a wide range of surgical services including neurology, orthopedic/spine, otolaryngology, urology, plastics, ophthalmology, dental, cardiac, general surgery, gastrointestinal, and hematology/oncology procedures. The organization is part of a larger university medical system and maintains high standards for patient care across its network of campuses.
