Job Details:

* 3x12 night shift schedule
* Patient ratio of 1:2 for days, nights, and weekends
* 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period required
* Float required based on schedule
* 2 years of experience preferred
* Travel experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Treats adult and geriatric patient populations
* Unit capacity of 16 beds with a daily census of 14
* Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
* Special equipment: CRRT (NXXT Stage)
* Key skills include arterial line management, ventilator management, blood product administration, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, IV insulin protocols, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, BiPAP/CPAP management, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, PICC line management, suctioning (ETT, NT), starting and maintaining IVs, and management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
