Open Position: RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech Radiology

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2752.20

Opportunity:

RN - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

* Work in an Interventional Radiology unit on the 1st floor of the main building
* Day shift includes 3-4 Techs, 3-4 RNs, and 1 Scheduler/Coordinator; night shift operates on call
* 1-2 nights of call per week required
* 1 weekend of call every 4-5 weekends required
* Patient ratios depend on the type of IR procedure performed
* Operate Discovery 740 IGS equipment
* Use Meditech EMR system (experience preferred)
* Perform and assist with procedures including biopsies, drain insertions, angiograms, peripheral vascular procedures, paracenteses, thoracentesis, line placement, and imaging support for CT coronary, MRI monitoring, and myelograms
* RNs are not required to scrub cases
* Critical care experience required
* Procedural area experience required
* Moderate sedation experience required
* PALS certification preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* Scrubs are provided
* No floating expected; may occasionally assist in CT, MRI, or Radiology
* Ideal candidate is outgoing, a self-starter, team oriented, and has a positive personality
