Job Details:
* Day shift, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* Perform specialized breast examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease
* Operate specialized mammography equipment
* Complete patient education regarding exams while promoting privacy and comfort
* Follow infection control and safety guidelines
* Perform diagnostic and screening mammograms as ordered
* Prepare for and assist the Radiologist in intricate mammography examinations including breast biopsies
* Produce high quality films for radiologist evaluation and complete appropriate documentation
* Obtain pertinent patient information and disseminate patient preparation instructions
* Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology required
* Experience as a Mammography Technologist preferred
* Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License required
* American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography (ARRT-R) required
* American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography (ARRT-M) required
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required
* Minimum two years of recent experience in field required
