RN L&D DAYS-MCR
Job Details:
* Day shift position working 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on various days of the week
* Every other weekend required, subject to change based on unit needs
* On-call required: 1 shift every 6 weeks
* Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
* First-time travelers accepted if experience requirements are met
* Patient ratio of 1:4, with 1-2 patients during labor and 3-4 patients postpartum
* Charting system: Epic (experience preferred)
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Float may be required within Women and Infants service line to sister facilities within the North region per facility request
* Unit has 22 beds serving neonatal and adult patient populations
* Orientation hours: 36
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS, STABLE
* Key skills required include: Labor & Delivery, Cesarean Section, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Postpartum Hemorrhage, Neonatal Resuscitation, Fetal Heart Monitoring (internal and external), Pre-eclampsia/eclampsia management, Pitocin administration, VBAC management, and couplet care
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Radiology, Social Services, and Rapid Response Teams
