Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Variable shifts throughout the week
* Weekend requirement: every other weekend per unit needs (subject to change)
* On-call required: 1 shift every 6 weeks
* Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
* First-time travelers accepted if experience requirements are met
* Patient ratios: 1:2 in labor, 1:3-4 in postpartum
* Charting system: EPIC (experience preferred)
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS, STABLE
* Scrubs provided by facility
* May float to sister facilities within the North region per facility request
* Float required within Women and Infants service line to regional like units only
* 36 orientation hours required
* Unit supports neonatal and adult patient age groups
* 22-bed unit with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
* Key skills expected include labor and delivery, couplet care, postpartum care, neonatal resuscitation, magnesium sulfate therapy, fetal monitoring (internal and external), C-section recovery and circulation, hemorrhage management, pre-eclampsia/eclampsia management, and IV insertion and management
