Job Details:

* Graveyard (night) shift position
* Can expect to perform 30-40+ scans per 12-hour shift
* Self-scheduling based on seniority
* May be asked to pick up voluntary shifts outside of contracted shift times, including days and nights
* Must be open to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
* Very high volume, fast-paced environment
* May be asked to perform own patient transport based on staffing needs
* Must be able to work independently and efficiently
* Community hospital experience required
* GE and Toshiba equipment used (1 64-slice Toshiba Aquilion scanner and 1 64-slice GE Lightspeed)
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* 1:1 patient ratio
* Weekends may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs
* No on-call required
* No floating between units
* Facility is able to call off once every two-week pay period (guaranteed hours policy)
* Charting system: Epic
* Free parking available
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, CA CRT, CT
* Required skills include: abdomen without and/or with contrast, adult acute care, adult outpatient, chest without and/or with contrast, emergency department, head without and/or with contrast, musculoskeletal trauma, pelvis without and/or with contrast, preparation and/or administration of contrast media, radiation safety, vascular CTA, and isolation precautions/PPE
* Patient age groups served: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* High volume primary stroke receiving center with mostly emergency department patients and some outpatients

This acute care hospital operates with 212 staffed beds and provides a wide range of medical services to the community. The facility features a very busy imaging department that serves as a high-volume primary stroke receiving center, handling predominantly emergency department patients alongside some outpatient cases. The department utilizes modern imaging equipment and supports a fast-paced, high-acuity patient population.
