Opportunity:

RN - L&D

Job Details:

* Rapid response assignment for 6 weeks at 48 hours per week
* 13-week assignment length
* Night shift with rotating weekend schedule, every other weekend required
* Guaranteed 36 hours per week
* No on-call requirements
* No RTO or special scheduling requests will be considered
* 4 LDR beds with patient ratios of 1:1 for PIT and 2:1
* No unit secretary or tech support available
* Documentation system: Meditech/CPN
* No floating policy
* Must have labor and delivery, recovery, immediate newborn care, golden hour baby care, and PACU C-section experience
* Must be able to circulate and scrub C-sections
* Ability to scrub C-sections preferred
* Meditech experience preferred
* 2+ years of hospital/specialty experience required
* Active TX RN license required - temporary licenses will not be accepted
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN - must be included in submission packet
* Patient experience with AIDET and bedside shift report required
* Facility will provide scrubs
* Nails must be clean and healthy
* Hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors; beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed
* Body art should be covered whenever possible
* Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited

This healthcare facility offers a dedicated Labor and Delivery unit equipped to provide comprehensive maternal and newborn care services. The unit supports a range of obstetric procedures including C-sections, recovery care, and immediate newborn care, utilizing Meditech and CPN documentation systems. The facility maintains a structured environment focused on delivering high-quality patient-centered care.
