Opportunity:
Sterile Processing Tech
Job Details:
* 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, scheduled Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with holiday rotation
* Floating within scope required to meet facility needs; may be required to float or be permanently switched to ART, Main, or West Campus
* Floating to sister facilities required
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period
* Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Level I Trauma experience required
* Travel experience required
* Experience required in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap sterile processing
* Preferred case experience includes: Neuro, GU, Robotics, ENT, Ortho, Transplant, and GYN
* Required certifications: CBSPD and/or IAHCSMM/HSPA
* BLS not required
* Skills required include: sterilization wrapping procedures, high-level disinfection, immediate-use steam sterilization, scope/probe reprocessing, sets/tray assembly, biological and chemical indicators, equipment documentation, and use of washers/sterilizers
* Experience with a broad range of specialty areas preferred including: Acute Hospital OR, Ambulatory Surgery Center, Cardiac, Laparoscopic, Neurology, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Robotics, Transplant, and Urology
* Serves patient age groups including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Parking pass available for nights and weekends with a one-time payment of $20
* All requested time off must be provided at time of submission; no RTO will be approved after contract is signed
