Opportunity:

Sterile Processing Tech

Job Details:

* Work 5x8 shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday with holiday rotation
* May require weekend rotation
* May be required to float or be permanently switched to ART, Main, or West Campus to meet facility needs
* Floating to sister facilities is required
* Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Level I Trauma experience required
* Experience in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap required
* Preferred case experience includes: Neuro, GU, Robotics, ENT, Ortho, Transplant, and GYN
* Required certifications: CBSPD and/or HSPA (IAHCSMM)
* BLS not required
* Travel experience required
* Skills required include: sterilization wrapping procedures, high-level disinfection, immediate-use steam sterilization, scope/probe reprocessing, sets/tray assembly, biological and chemical indicators, use of washers/sterilizers, and equipment documentation
* Experience working with a wide range of specialties including Acute Hospital OR, Ambulatory Surgery Center, Cardiac, Laparoscopic, Robotics, Orthopedics, Urology, Neurology, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology, Transplant, and more
* Serves patient age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* All requested time off must be provided at time of submission; no RTO will be approved after contract is signed

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, and Magnet Hospital with 820 total staffed beds. It is a large, highly accredited healthcare organization that supports a wide range of complex surgical specialties and serves diverse patient populations across multiple campuses. The facility maintains high standards for sterile processing and offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment with interdisciplinary support.
