Opportunity:

RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Details:

* Day shift position with 36 or 48-hour weekly schedules available
* Floating required to AHDL as needed
* Minimum two years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery required
* EPIC experience required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Acute care facility experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS (from AHA-approved vendor), ACLS (AHA or ARC), Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), NRP (AHA or ARC)
* Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice required
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver care in a safe, healing, and caring environment
* Participate in discharge planning to provide continuity of care
* Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of healthcare team members
