Opportunity:

Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

* Day shift schedule available as 4x10-hour shifts or 5x8-hour shifts
* Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests of cardiovascular and pulmonary systems
* Operate special procedure equipment including C-Arm, angiographic injectors, and associated patient monitoring equipment
* Select and modify technical factors as needed during procedures
* Monitor, record, and evaluate patient vital signs throughout procedures
* Maintain proper sterile and aseptic techniques for all procedures
* Operate, record, and maintain physiologic equipment in accordance with established clinical cardiovascular procedures
* Assist cardiologists and/or radiologists during special procedures and administration of opaque media via catheter or direct injection
* Provide radiation protection to patients in accordance with prescribed safety standards
* Act as a resource for specialized or complicated procedures
* Must have Cath Lab experience
* Minimum two years of recent experience in the field required
* Required certifications: BLS (from AHA-approved vendor), AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
* American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography (ARRT-R) required per Oregon state law; RCIS not accepted
* Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License required
* Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience preferred
* One year of catheterization experience preferred
