Job Details:

* PM shift position requiring flexibility working weekends
* Weekend coverage required depending on length of contract
* No on-call required
* Minimum 3 years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Precepting skills preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* May be required to float to Mother/Baby unit
* May be required to float to a sister facility
* 24 orientation hours required
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Scrub color: Any color
* Free parking available
* Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced (hard stop - must have prior to submittal), BLS, NRP; C-EFM accepted in lieu of Advanced AWHONN
* Required skills include: circulating and recovering cesarean sections, postpartum hemorrhage management (assist with Bakri and JADA), blood transfusion, Belmont Rapid Infuser, D&C, hysterectomy, cerclage removal, and applying internal monitoring devices (FSE and IUPC)
* Ideal candidates will have ability to perform non-stress tests, set up a delivery table, newborn care, Baby Friendly experience, and ability to float to Postpartum/Mother-Baby Unit
* Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, and adults
* Unit supports 210?257 births per month across 22 rooms and 21 beds
* Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years, completed during compliance process and prior to start

This acute care hospital features 356 staffed beds and provides comprehensive Labor & Delivery services supporting 210?257 births per month across a 22-room unit. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and offers robust interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and rapid response teams. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and requires strong clinical expertise to support both low- and high-risk obstetric patients.
