Job Details:

* 8-hour day shifts
* Weekend coverage required with approximately one weekend shift per month
* Ability to float to other facilities within a 75+ mile radius if qualifications are met
* Minimum 3 years of experience required
* Previous travel assignment required
* Teaching hospital experience required
* Must be able to both scrub and circulate
* Previous charge experience required
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Patient ratio: 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* 28 operating rooms
* Patients include adults and geriatrics
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), California RN License, BSN
* Preferred certifications: CNOR, ACLS
* Perform and assist with a wide range of surgical procedures including:
- Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (OHNS) and Craniotomy procedures
- Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS)
- Plastic Surgery
- Dental Surgery
- Combined Neurosurgery/OHNS procedures
- Open and endoscopic surgical cases
- Free flap reconstructive procedures
* Work with special equipment including the Da Vinci Xi Robot
* Handle laparoscopic, robotic, open belly cases, and cystoscopy procedures
* Interdisciplinary support available including interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* 2 references from most recent employer required at time of submittal
