Open Position: RN - ICU/CCU

RN - CCU

Job Details:

* Work 36 hours per week in a 20-bed Critical Care Unit
* Patient ratio of 2:1 for CCU patients
* 3 weekend shifts required every 4 weeks
* Unit secretary available on days and nights with occasional tech support
* Work with GE monitors, Alaris pumps, and Puritan Bennett ventilators
* Document using Meditech system - Meditech experience required
* Minimum 1 year of critical care experience required
* Must be able to manage arterial lines, venous/arterial sheaths, cardiovascular and vasopressor drips, and ventilated patients
* Procedures performed on unit include bedside central line placement and massive transfusion protocol
* NIH certification required
* Required certification: ACLS
* Required dress code: Black scrubs
* Contract labor floats before core staff per floating policy

Facility:

This facility serves as the highest level of care unit in Sumner County and operates as a Clinical Transformation and Innovation alpha hub, focusing on using technology to reduce time spent in the electronic health record so that more time can be spent caring for patients. The unit has recently undergone a GE monitor upgrade and offers a flexible schedule for staff. The facility is committed to clinical excellence and innovation in patient care delivery.
