Job Details:

* 4x10 hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, various days of the week
* Block scheduling type
* Minimum 2 years of electrophysiology (EP) lab experience required; academic EP experience preferred
* First-time travelers accepted with more than 2 years of experience in a busy EP lab
* No routine weekend requirements, though this may change based on staffing needs
* On-call requirement of 2 call days per week plus holiday shift call
* Patient ratio of 1:1
* Charting system: EPIC and GE Healthcare experience required
* Scrub colors provided by facility
* No floating between units required
* Trauma Level II experience required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA); RCES (CCI) preferred
* Prepare the environment, assess patients, review safety checklists, and monitor patients during cardiac electrical impulse procedures
* Required skills include: End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Antiarrhythmics, Antihypertensives, Arrhythmia Induction, Cardiac Ablation, Cardiac Mapping, Cardioversion, Conduction Studies, Electrophysiology (EP) Lab procedures, Interpretation and Management of Dysrhythmias, Insertion and Programming of AICDs, Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure, Pacemaker Insertion, Procedural Sedation Administration and Monitoring, Scrub Procedures, Radiation and Laser Safety, Vascular Closure Systems, and Ventilator Management
* Adult patient population
* Facility sees approximately 10 visits per day across 3 procedure rooms
