Opportunity:

Surgical Technologist - OR

Job Details:

* 8-hour day shifts with variable start times: 7:00 AM?3:30 PM, 9:00 AM?5:30 PM, or 11:00 AM?7:30 PM
* 5 days per week schedule
* Call required, varies depending on need
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility
* Department runs all specialties including General, Urology, GYN, Orthopedics, Neuro, ENT, Ophthalmology, Plastics, Vascular, Robotics, and Cardiac
* Daily average surgical case volume of 15 with 6 operating rooms
* Patients served include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Pediatric and adolescent experience preferred
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Travel experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, NBSTSA
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Preferred skills include line insertions, airway management, assembly/wrap, and equipment documentation
* Instrument tray reprocessing preferred in: General, OB/GYN, Plastic, ENT, Dental, Ophthalmology, Cardiovascular/Thoracic, Laparoscopic, Urology, Robotic, Ortho, Ortho/Totals, Neuro/Spine, Neuro/Crani, and Robotic-assisted Gynecological procedures
* Flexible endoscope reprocessing preferred with: Bronchoscopes, Colonoscopes, EGD Scopes, EBUS, EUS, Enteroscopes, ERCP Scopes, Fiber Optics, Flex Sigmoidoscopes
* Required procedural skills include a broad range of surgical cases across multiple specialties including robotic surgery, cardiovascular, orthopedic, neurological, urological, gynecological, and general surgical procedures
* Must request all time-off and scheduling requests up front at time of submittal
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years, completed during the compliance process prior to start
