Opportunity:
CT Technologist
Job Details:
* Day shift Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue
* Perform a variety of imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging from adolescence through geriatric age groups
* Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
* Use PACS and teleradiology systems to correctly transfer images to appropriate locations
* Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information
* Ensure integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines
* Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory
* Minimum two years of recent experience in the field required
* Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
* ARRT registration as R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R) required
* Radiologic Tech (RT) state license required
* Advanced Certification in CT modality preferred in California
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required
* Fluoroscopy license required in California if operating fluoroscopy equipment
* Venipuncture certification required in California if performing venipuncture to administer contrast materials
* Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required
