Opportunity:
Radiologic Technologist
Job Details:
* Work evening shift, Monday through Wednesday, 3x12-hour swing shifts
* Support both diagnostic X-ray and C-arm coverage
* C-arm experience required to effectively support procedural and surgical imaging needs
* Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of the body as ordered by physicians
* Position and instruct patients prior to examination
* Adjust x-ray equipment and determine proper voltage, current, and desired exposure time for each radiograph
* Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation
* Explain procedures to patients and answer questions
* Prepare equipment and examination rooms for patient exams
* Monitor patients and ensure safety during exams
* Produce diagnostic images and document exam information
* Report important information to the physician and verify exams on PACS
* Associate's Degree in radiologic technology preferred
* Minimum two years of recent experience in the field required
* Required certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography (ARRT-R), Basic Life Support (BLS) from an approved vendor, Fluoroscopy license required in CA within 6 months of hire
* Radiologic Tech (RT) state license required
