Stepdown/Med Surg

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts with weekend requirements of 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
* Holiday rotation required for evening or day shifts
* Patient ratios: Stepdown 1:3 and Floor 1:5-6
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA)
* Stepdown experience required
* Must be able to titrate drips including Heparin, insulin, Cardizem, and amiodarone
* Work with common diagnoses including respiratory issues, weakness, UTI, AKI, and chest pain
* Use EPIC charting system
* Royal blue scrub color required
* Unit-specific orientation provided
* Work with respiratory therapy equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow
* Telemetry monitoring available with strips monitored at Ruby
* Support from 2 nurse aids per shift
* No floating requirements or call/standby requirements
* Must provide copy of unexpired driver's license and disclose any licensing hits
* BSN not required but nursing license must be submitted
