Job Details:

* 12-hour shifts with variable weekend schedule required
* Clinician may be called off for 1 shift per 2-week period (guaranteed hours policy)
* No on-call responsibilities required
* Float required to Postpartum unit
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Experience in facilities handling 200+ deliveries preferred; candidates with 100-200 deliveries will be considered
* Must have Sterile Vaginal Exam (SVE) experience hard stop requirement
* Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring (all certifications are hard stop requirements)
* Epic charting system experience required
* Scrub color: Any (no reddish-orange permitted)
* Parking is facility paid
* Unit is a high-risk perinatal care unit with 19 labor and delivery beds, 10 antepartum beds, 30 postpartum beds, 3 ORs, 2 PACU, and 7-bay triage
* Staffing goals: 1:1 in labor, 1:3 couplets in postpartum with CNA support, 1:2-3 in antepartum
* Triage staffed with 3 skilled RNs per shift
* Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
* All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years, completed during compliance process and prior to start

Facility:

This facility is a Level II Trauma Center with 571 total staffed beds across two campuses. The Pacific Campus serves as the dedicated Pavilion for Women and Children, offering comprehensive maternity services including a Level III labor and delivery unit and a Level II NICU. The unit is supported by 3-4 delivering providers, 2 CRNAs, and 2 Health Unit Coordinators available 24/7, ensuring robust clinical support for high-risk perinatal patients.
