Open Position: RN - NICU

Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

* Work in a 25-bed NICU unit on the 2nd floor
* Patient ratios: Level 2 (1:2-3) and Level 3 (1:3-4)
* Day shift includes 1 CNC, RNs dependent on volume, and 1 Unit Secretary Monday through Friday
* Night shift includes 1 CNC and RNs dependent on volume
* Use Meditech Expanse EMR system
* Wear royal blue scrubs
* Recent NICU experience required, including care of premature and critically ill neonates
* Competency with neonatal respiratory support, IV/central line management, medication administration, and neonatal monitoring required
* Level III/IV NICU experience and high-risk delivery attendance preferred
* Experience with ventilators, CPAP, high-frequency ventilation, PICC/UVC/UAC lines, and neonatal resuscitation preferred
* Perform neonatal resuscitation, respiratory support, feeding tube placement, IV/central line care, and blood draws
* Administer phototherapy, medications/infusions, and manage thermoregulation for critically ill neonates
* Float to Mother-Baby/Postpartum unit as needed
* Required certifications: Active RN license, BLS, and NRP; additional certifications per facility requirements
