RN - Labor & Delivery

Job Details:

* 15-week contract assignment
* No on-call responsibilities
* Minimum 2 years of experience required with some exposure to post-partum care
* Strong labor and delivery experience required including cervical exams, antepartum and labors, amnio infusions, epidurals, fetal monitoring, IVs, and Pitocin administration
* Must be able to circulate C-sections
* Baby catching/receiving skills required
* APGAR scoring required
* Breastfeeding knowledge required
* Post-partum care from transition to discharge for both mom and baby strongly preferred
* Scrub experience is a bonus; scrub-trained RNs may be utilized for sick call coverage
* Epic EMR experience strongly preferred
* Multilingual skills (Russian/Spanish) preferred
* Teal scrubs are provided
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring
* First-time travelers will be considered

Facility:

This facility operates a 20-bed obstetrics unit consisting of 12 labor and delivery beds and 8 post-partum and antepartum beds, including 3 OB/ED rooms and 2 operating rooms. The unit is supported by a 6-bed Level II NICU and maintains a Scrub Tech on site at all times. A nurse practitioner is available on call to support the clinical team.
