Opportunity:

Speech Language Pathologist - LTC

Job Details:

* Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* Long-term care experience required
* Must be a graduate of a college or university accredited by the American Speech and Hearing Association with a degree in Speech Language Pathology
* Current New York State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist required
* Must be eligible for or hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association (ASHA)
* Strong communication skills required to effectively interact with patients, medical staff, and house staff
* Excellent assessment skills needed to accurately evaluate patient potential and guide individual progress
* Proficiency with MS Office and Epic/EMR software required
* Knowledge of the PDPM reimbursement system required
