RN - Endoscopy

Job Details:

* On-call schedule: One weekend per month and one day per week
* Work in endoscopy unit with 6 procedure rooms and 13 prep/recovery bays
* Patient ratios: 1:1 for procedures, 2:1 for prep/recovery
* Work with endoscopy equipment and Meditech EMR system
* Perform typical procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and bronchoscopy
* Provide care for both adult and pediatric patients
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
* Endoscopy experience required
* May float to IR, PACU, and Day Surgery units
* Dress code: Royal blue scrubs
* Unit policies: No phones, minimal call-ins, no earbuds allowed
* Weekday and weekend call responsibilities

Facility:

This healthcare facility features a comprehensive endoscopy unit located on the second floor of Building A. The unit operates with a team of 12 nurses and 4 technicians during day shifts, maintaining modern endoscopy equipment and utilizing Meditech EMR systems. The facility provides specialized gastrointestinal and pulmonary procedures for both adult and pediatric populations, with additional support services including interventional radiology, post-anesthesia care, and day surgery departments.
