Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Work in a 52-bed emergency department with an average patient ratio of 3:1, low acuity at 5:1, and team nursing for pediatric patients
* Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4 nurses, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician, and 1 midlevel per pod
* Perform IV starts, medication administration, sedations, and pediatric care
* Scan patients and medications every time as required by unit policy
* Work with Alaris equipment and Meditech EMR system
* Minimum 1 year of current hospital ED experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and CPI Blue Card
* Experience at a large facility or 52-bed ER or larger preferred
* Meditech experience preferred
* Must be able to keep up with a fast-paced environment and handle diverse patient situations

The unit is staffed with a dedicated team including charge nurses, registered nurses, technicians, unit clerks, physicians, and midlevel providers working in organized pod structures. The facility utilizes modern Alaris equipment and Meditech EMR technology to support high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
