Opportunity:

TRAVEL - RN - PCU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Assigned to 5th Floor Medical/Progressive Care Unit
* Patient ratios of 4-5 patients per nurse on both day and night shifts
* Night shift team consists of 1 charge nurse, 9-10 RNs, and 4-5 MSTs
* Unit contains 45 beds with a staff of 90
* Perform cardiac drip management and cardiac catheter care
* Provide chest tube management, wound care, and TPN/lipid administration
* Utilize equipment including lifts, Dynamap, and cardiac monitoring equipment
* Document using Meditech EMR system
* Self-scheduling available as allowed
* Access to new lift equipment and iMobile technology
* Team-oriented environment with a positive attitude toward staff and providers required
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PCU experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
* Cardiac and ICU experience preferred
* Prior Meditech experience preferred
