Job Details:

* 5x8 day shift schedule
* 72 guaranteed hours per 2-week period with the possibility of being called off for 1 eight-hour shift per 2 weeks
* On-call required with weekend on-call coverage
* Block schedule accommodations available upon request
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Compact nursing license must be in hand at time of submission
* Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Charting system experience required; Epic utilized at facility
* Scrub color: Any or Business Casual
* Free parking available
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Required skills include: lobe resection, lung resection/thoracotomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, laparoscopic assisted procedures, thyroidectomy, arthroscopy, closed/open reduction of fractures, laminectomy/discectomy, ortho/spine, spinal fusion, total joint replacement, cystoscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, transurethral resection of the prostate, cell saver, administration of blood and blood products, laser safety, radiation safety, specimen handling/labeling, universal protocol, wound management, general OR, trauma, and pre-op/PACU
* 40 orientation hours required
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the submittal process
* Facility-provided housing available during assignment in a 1-bedroom apartment; pets are not allowed
