Job Details:

* Work in a 27-bed Emergency Department with high acuity, fast-paced environment
* Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, 2-3 medics with additional staff increases at 11am and 3pm
* Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, 2-3 medics
* Patient ratios range from 4-6:1, with preferred experience at 5:1 ratios
* Must have completed 2-3 travel assignments
* Must have 2-3 years of Emergency Room experience
* High acuity ER experience with high volume preferred
* Perform procedures including RSI, sepsis interventions, stroke protocol with tPA administration, central line placement, psych patient care, and facility transfers (EMTALA)
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
* Preferred certifications: ENPC, NRP, NIH
* EMR system: Meditech
* No on-call responsibilities
* Weekend requirements: four weekend shifts (Friday or Saturday for nights; Saturday or Sunday for days) in a four-week scheduling period
* Dress code: navy blue or white scrubs
* No floating to other units required
* Ideal personality: relaxed, easy going, friendly, team oriented, respectful
