RN - L&D

Job Details:

* Work 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
* 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule
* Ready for huddle at 6:45 AM
* Patient ratio of 1:1-2 in a 17-bed inpatient unit with 2 triage beds
* Float to Mother/Baby and Postpartum units as needed
* Hospital-provided scrubs required - wear personal clothing to hospital and change on arrival and departure
* Document using Meditech and Centricity systems
* Operate Monica Novii, Ambulatory Telemetry Monitors, and GE EFM equipment
* Perform IV insertion, lab draws, and blood administration
* Administer nitrous oxide and assist with epidural placement
* Conduct vaginal exams and set up delivery tables for vaginal deliveries
* Provide PACU recovery experience for spinal anesthesia
* Perform antepartum triage and manage common obstetrical complications
* Assist with procedures including ECV, C-sections, vaginal deliveries, and vacuum or forceps as needed
* Knowledge of JADA and BAKRI required
* Knowledge of common OB medications and strip interpretation required
* Circulator experience in C-sections required
* Teamwork approach to patient care following AIDET standards of courtesy and respect
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or C-EFM, NRP
* Active RN licensure required
* Block scheduling available

The Labor and Delivery unit is located on the second floor of the main building and features modern equipment including fetal monitoring technology and telemetry systems. The facility maintains a supportive team environment with unit secretaries available during day shifts and a collaborative approach to obstetrical patient care.
