Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

* Work 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* 40 guaranteed hours per week
* On-call required with 14-15 days of call in a 6-week period
* Weekday call hours: 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM
* Weekend call hours: 5:30 PM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday on a rotating schedule per call team
* Must reside within a 30-minute radius of the hospital while on call
* No on-site call accommodations available
* Weekend availability required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; travel experience required
* Strong Cath Lab Tech and IR experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, RCIS; ARRT R preferred
* IR Tech experience required
* Perform procedures including cardiac catheterization with and without intervention, STEMI response, vascular procedures including port placement and thrombectomy, peripheral vascular, cardiac rhythm procedures including temporary and permanent device implantation, cardioversion, TEE and EP studies, and pain management procedures including RF ablation and steroid injections
* Work across 4 procedure rooms handling Caths, Devices (ICDs, Pacemakers, Linqs), Pain procedures, EP studies with ablations, and peripheral vascular angiography
* Average of 280 cases per month with 8-12 STEMIs monthly
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Work with 2-3 teams of four during the day and a team of four on call
* Utilize equipment including Philips and Siemens Fluoroscopy suites, Philips ISVC PACS, Philips Xper hemodynamics, and Maquet IABP
* Charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Preferred skills include pacemakers, obtaining vitals, rhythm interpretation, and sinus node rhythms
* Maximum of 1 pre-approved time-off request permitted
* Expect to work some holidays and weekends

Facility:

This facility operates a comprehensive procedural Cath Lab environment with four dedicated procedure rooms supporting a high-volume cardiovascular and interventional radiology program. The unit treats vascular, cardiac, and pain management patients and maintains a dedicated four-person STEMI call team at all times. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and more, ensuring a collaborative and well-resourced clinical environment.
