Opportunity:

RN - Labor and Delivery (LDRP)

Job Details:

* 3x12-hour day shifts per week
* Weekend coverage required with 6 weekend shifts per contract (Saturday and Sunday for days; Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for nights)
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers will not be accepted
* Travel experience required
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Patient ratios: Labor 1:2, Antepartum 1:3, Mother/Baby 1:3
* Epic charting system experience required
* Unit is LDRP with a daily census of 14 and 15 beds
* Patients served include neonates and adults
* Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
* Key skills required include Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, Mother/Baby, Couplet Care, Cesarean Section, Postpartum Hemorrhage, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, External and Internal Fetal Monitoring, Newborn Assessment, and Triage of obstetrical patients
* Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Transportation
* One pre-approved time off request allowed per contract
* All requested time off must be listed at time of submittal

This facility operates a comprehensive Labor and Delivery unit providing full-spectrum obstetric and neonatal care in an LDRP setting. The unit supports a wide range of maternal and newborn services with access to interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams. The facility is equipped to handle high-risk antepartum patients, multiple births, and cesarean sections, with a strong emphasis on quality patient outcomes and team-based care.
