Open Position: CT Technologist - CT Tech

Opportunity:

Lead CT Tech

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday schedule, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* 12-week contract
* Call required on a rotational basis
* Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a lead CT Tech
* Strong lead/management experience required
* 2 years of experience required
* Community hospital experience required
* Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Charting system experience required - Epic
* Required certifications: ARRT CT, BLS, FL State License
* Must be proficient in 3D rendering including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
* Experience with a wide range of CT procedures including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, brain perfusion, carotid, cervical, colonography, colorectal studies, enterography, myelography, PET CT, and vascular CTA
* Experience working with GE 64 sl/256 sl equipment
* Proficiency in PACS and multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) required
* Must be comfortable working with patients of all ages including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Experience in adult acute care, pediatric acute care, ICU, and emergency department settings
* Must be skilled in preparation and administration of contrast media, venipuncture, and starting peripheral IVs
* Radiation safety and radiation therapy planning experience required
* Isolation precautions and PPE experience required

Facility:

This facility is a large hospital with 350 beds and a daily census of 150 patients. The radiology department operates 4 CT rooms and is supported by an interdisciplinary radiology team. The facility provides comprehensive imaging services across a wide range of specialties and patient populations, offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment for experienced CT professionals.
