Opportunity:

Central Sterile Technician

Job Details:

* Block scheduling type with 33 patient ratios on days and 7 patient ratios on nights and weekends
* Weekend shifts required
* On-call required
* Must be available to work major holidays
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* At least 1 year of travel experience required - no first-time travelers accepted
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Required certifications: CBSPD and/or IAHCSMM/HSPA
* Special equipment experience required: Steris Washers, ultrasonic and autoclaves, ASP low temp NX100's, and SPM instrument tracking software
* Experience working with Evotech (ASP) systems required
* Skills required include: acute hospital OR, cleaning equipment (crash carts, IV pumps, PCA pumps), high-level disinfection, use of washers/sterilizers, case cart, proper selection of wrapping materials, sterilization wrapping procedures, sets/trays assembly, equipment documentation, biological indicators, chemical indicators, steam sterilization testing/monitoring, and immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS)
* Specialty area experience includes: Ear/Nose/Throat, General, Orthopedics, Plastics, and Urology
* Maximum pre-approved time off of 7 days per contract
* Local candidates within 75 miles of facility are not accepted
