Opportunity:

RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Details:

* Night shift position with 36 or 48 hour weekly options available
* Weekend coverage required with 6 weekends per contract; Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Travel experience required; unit does not accept first-time travelers
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Patient ratios: Labor 1:2, Antepartum 1:3, Mother/Baby 1:3
* Daily census of 14 patients across 15 beds
* LDRP unit serving neonates and adults
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
* Self-scheduling available with one pre-approved time off request per contract
* Skills required include but are not limited to: Labor and Delivery, antepartum care, couplet care, Mother/Baby, C-section circulating and recovery, magnesium sulfate therapy, fetal monitoring (internal and external), Pitocin administration, postpartum hemorrhage management, newborn assessment, epidural anesthesia, high-risk antepartum, and triage of obstetrical patients
* Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Transportation
