Job Details:

* Temp to perm opportunity
* Work 5x8 shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM with holiday rotation
* Rotating weekend schedule required
* Floating within scope required to meet facility needs; may be required to float or be permanently switched to CSC, ART, or West Campus
* Floating to sister facilities required
* Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Level I Trauma experience required
* Experience in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap required
* Preferred case experience: Neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, ortho, transplant, and GYN
* Required certifications: CBSPD and/or IAHCSMM/HSPA
* BLS not required
* Travel experience required
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; guaranteed hours subject to this policy
* No more than 2 callouts permitted without a doctor's note; 3rd callout may result in removal
* No more than 3 tardies permitted
* Expected to work holidays if not included in approved time off requests
* Will be assigned to Inclement Weather Team A or B per management expectations
* Skills required include: sterilization wrapping, decontamination, sets/tray assembly, high-level disinfection, immediate-use steam sterilization, scope/probe reprocessing, use of washers/sterilizers, aseptic technique, biological and chemical indicators, fiber optics, and robotics
* Serves patient age groups including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Parking cost: nights and weekends only with a one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet Hospital with 820 total staffed beds.
