Opportunity:

Mammography Tech

Job Details:

* Work 5x8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* Daily caseload of 15-20 mammograms
* No weekend requirement (volunteer only if events are scheduled)
* No on-call requirement
* Technologist will remain within the Breast Center and will not float
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Block schedule may be accommodated with prior approval but is not guaranteed
* 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (M), SCRQSA (M)
* South Carolina state license must be in hand prior to start
* Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
* Experience in screening and diagnostic mammograms required
* Stereo biopsy, breast ultrasound, and ultrasound biopsies are a plus but not required
* Preferred equipment experience: Hologic, Siemens
* Charting system: Epic
* Scrub color: Teal top and black bottom
* No parking cost
* 60-mile radius rule applies
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of submission

Facility:

This is a Level III Trauma, Acute Care Hospital with 286 staffed beds. The facility features a dedicated Breast Center where mammography technologists provide comprehensive imaging services including screening and diagnostic mammograms. The organization utilizes Epic for charting and maintains a well-equipped imaging department to support a high standard of patient care.
