Opportunity:

Mammography Technologist

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday schedule with shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM as needed
* Every other Saturday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM required; a day off during the week will be provided when Saturday is worked
* Schedule posted one week in advance
* 2 to 3 weekend shifts required per month
* Float between 4 sites as needed: Shoreline Medical Center in Guilford, North Haven Medical Center in North Haven, Long Wharf Medical Center in New Haven, and Smilow Cancer Hospital in New Haven
* 4 years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* Cross training as Breast Sonographer preferred
* Experience with Hologic equipment required
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Scrub color: Teal tops and bottoms
* Required certifications: ARRT M, ARRT R, BLS, Breast Ultrasound
* Required skills: 3D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, Digital Mammography, Hologic 3D, Inpatient, Outpatient, Radiation Safety, Screening Mammograms, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Universal Precautions/Core Measures
* Weekend coverage required
* Guaranteed hours provided

Facility:

This facility is a Short Term Acute Care hospital and Level I Trauma Center with a total of 1,567 staffed beds. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and provides interdisciplinary support through radiology services. The organization operates multiple medical center locations throughout the region, offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services to the surrounding community.
