Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

* 12-hour shifts with self-scheduling
* At least every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* Patient ratio of 1:4 on all shifts
* Approximately 20 patient visits per day across 7 rooms/beds
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Travel position - home address must be at least 75 miles from facility
* Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
* Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13-week contract
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
* Epic charting experience required
* Trauma Level IV experience required
* Scrub color: Navy
* Treats patients of all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Required skills include: General Emergency Department (Combined Adult/Pedi), interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, central line care/management, IV vasopressors, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilated patient care, isolation precautions, and triage
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, and rapid response teams
* May be required to float to Anderson County Hospital as needed

This is a Critical Access Hospital with 25 total staffed beds, providing essential healthcare services to the surrounding community. The facility utilizes Epic as its charting system and offers interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, and rapid response teams. The emergency department is a combined adult and pediatric unit, serving patients of all age groups with a strong focus on quality care and collaborative practice.
