Opportunity:

CT Tech / Radiology

Job Details:

* Friday through Sunday shift schedule
* Perform diagnostic CT scans on pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
* Review requisitions to verify patient name, diagnosis, and description of requested exam
* Select appropriate imaging protocols and adjust equipment to produce proper radiographic exposure
* Administer oral and IV contrast as appropriate and document administration in Cerner
* Perform scanning procedures of various organs to localize site of pathological process
* Complete exam screenings, consents, and paper scanning in a timely manner
* May float within facility within scope and to an affiliate hospital nearby
* 2 years of CT Tech experience required
* Teaching hospital and community hospital experience required
* Level I or Level II trauma experience preferred
* Adult acute care, adult outpatient, Emergency Department, adult ICU, and pediatric acute care experience required
* Experience with abdominal, pelvic, chest, and head CT imaging with and without contrast required
* Contrast media preparation and administration experience required
* Brain perfusion, coronary CTA, and vascular CTA experience required
* Cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal trauma imaging experience required
* Operating Room, NICU, and PICU experience preferred
* GE, Siemens, and PACS experience required
* Cerner charting system experience required
* Any color scrubs permitted
* Required certifications: BLS and ARRT-R; ARRT advanced certification preferred
* Active Maryland Radiologic Technologist license required
* References required
