Opportunity:

CT Technologist

Job Details:

* Night shift position working Wednesday through Tuesday
* Weekday shift hours: 7:45 PM to 6:15 AM
* Weekend shift hours: 6:45 PM to 6:15 AM
* Work alongside other night technologists
* Operate GE CT scanners
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I experience preferred; Trauma Level II experience required
* Required certifications: ARRT CT, BLS
* Perform a wide range of CT procedures including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, lumbar, thoracic, and cervical imaging with and without contrast
* Perform advanced imaging including brain perfusion, coronary CTA, vascular CTA, CT arthrography, and cardiac studies such as calcium scoring
* Perform 3D rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
* Conduct multiplanar reconstruction and region of interest measurements
* Perform myelography, colonography, enterography, and transplant studies
* Conduct aspirations, biopsies, and drainage procedures
* Prepare and administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs via venipuncture
* Work with patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Work in emergency department and ICU settings
* Adhere to radiation safety and isolation precaution/PPE protocols
* Utilize PACS system

This hospital facility is a comprehensive acute care medical center with 240 beds and three CT scanning rooms, serving an average daily census of 120 patients. The facility operates a robust emergency department and ICU and is equipped with GE CT scanners to support a full range of diagnostic imaging procedures. The organization provides care across all patient age groups and maintains a Level II Trauma Center designation, offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment for imaging professionals.
