Opportunity:
Interventional Radiology Tech / Cardiology
Job Details:
* 3-room Interventional Radiology department serving adult and geriatric patients
* Daily census of approximately 10 cases per day
* Weekday backup call coverage from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday
* Weekend call can be primary or backup coverage, running 7:00 AM Saturday through 7:00 AM Monday
* Holiday call coverage runs 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM as needed
* No regular weekend requirement outside of call obligations
* 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
* Neuro and vascular interventional experience required
* Required procedures include biopsies, peripheral procedures, hemodynamic monitoring, stroke procedures, kyphoplasty, and nephrostomy procedures
* Experience with angioplasty, embolization, TIPS, IVC filter placement, PICC lines, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and upper/lower extremity angiography required
* Teaching hospital and Level I trauma experience preferred
* Siemens equipment experience preferred; Philips, Toshiba, and GE equipment also in use
* Cerner charting system experience preferred
* Scrub color: Any color
* May be required to float within scope, including to an affiliate hospital nearby
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT-R
* Active Maryland RT license required
* ARRT-VI and fluoroscopy permit preferred
* Pre-approved time off: Up to two requests; RTO is auto-approved for 14 days or less
* No RTO approved on hard-to-fill days such as Easter, Mother's Day, and Father's Day
* Every other winter and summer holiday is required with no RTO approved on those days
* 40-hour orientation
