Opportunity:

SEASONAL - TRAVEL - RN - OR

Job Details:

* Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
* Saturday through Monday weekend schedule with rotation of one additional weekday shift covering the third shift
* 408-bed hospital with 14 operating rooms including 1 Hybrid CV OR, 1 Cysto, and 12 multipurpose ORs
* Day shift staffing includes 14-16 RNs and 14-16 CSTs with Clinical Charge RNs
* Patient ratio is 1:1
* On-call requirement of 2 twelve-hour call shifts per month and 3-4 call shifts from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM per month
* Work with standard OR equipment and Stryker Video systems
* EMR system: Meditech
* Minimum of 1 year current hospital acute care experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
* Circulating and scrubbing experience preferred
* Meditech experience preferred
* Typical procedures include angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and orthopedic/spine procedures
* No transplant procedures performed
* Strong patient experience focus and good communication with staff and providers required
* Must be adaptable to change

Facility:

This facility is a 408-bed acute care hospital featuring a robust operating room department with 14 ORs, including a Hybrid Cardiovascular OR, a Cystoscopy suite, and 12 multipurpose operating rooms. The OR team consists of approximately 60 FTEs including OR RNs, CSTs, PCTs, Anesthesia Techs, Service Line Lead RNs, and Clinical Charge RNs. The facility maintains both day and night shift coverage, with dedicated call teams for Neurology, Cardiovascular OR, and General Surgery procedures.
