Opportunity:

SEASONAL - TRAVEL - RN - OR

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Weekend shift schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday or Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
* Operating room assignment in a 408-bed hospital with 14 operating rooms including 1 Hybrid CV OR, 1 Cysto, and 12 multipurpose ORs
* Patient ratio of 1:1
* Day shift staffing includes 14-16 RNs and 14-16 CSTs
* On-call requirements include 2 twelve-hour call shifts per month and 3-4 call shifts from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM per month
* Minimum of 1 year of current hospital acute care experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
* Circulating and scrubbing experience preferred
* Typical procedures include angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and orthopedic/spine procedures
* No transplant procedures performed
* Work with standard OR equipment and Stryker video systems
* EMR system: Meditech (experience preferred)
* Strong patient experience focus and good communication with staff and providers required
* Must be adaptable to change

Facility:

This facility is a 408-bed hospital featuring a main operating room suite with 14 operating rooms, including a Hybrid Cardiovascular OR, a Cystoscopy room, and 12 multipurpose ORs. The facility supports a robust surgical team of 60 FTEs including OR RNs, CSTs, PCTs, Anesthesia Techs, Service Line Lead RNs, and Clinical Charge RNs. The organization is equipped with modern technology including Stryker video systems and utilizes Meditech as its electronic medical records system.
