Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2934.60

Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

* 8-hour day shifts with variable start times
* Ability to float to other facilities within a 75+ mile radius if qualifications are met
* Patient ratios: 2 patients on days and weekends, 3 patients on nights
* Daily census of approximately 50 patients
* Patients served include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Outpatient surgery center setting performing most same-day procedures with the exception of orthopedic and cardiac cases
* Must be able to work in pre-op and extended care units in addition to PACU
* Provide airway management, anesthesia recovery, and pain management
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Travel experience required
* Teaching hospital experience required
* Minimum 5 years of nursing experience required
* Minimum 3 years of PACU experience required
* 2 years of critical care experience preferred
* Required certifications: CA RN License, BSN, AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS
* Preferred certifications: CCRN or CPAN
* Required skills include: Phase I PACU, arterial line management, IV vasopressors, central line care and management, phlebotomy, pre-post care, IV insertion and maintenance, and urinary catheterization
* 2 references from most recent employer required at time of submittal
* All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submittal and cannot fall within the first two weeks of the assignment
